Green Direction rocks YOUth Power

It was on 19th, July 2012, and it was such an unforgettable experience. My friends and I formed a group called “Green Direction” to compete in this YOUth Power competition by making a recycle plan called “Green Kid”. It is a contest organized by the EAST-WEST center in Honolulu, Hawaii and Department of Media and Communication as a part of the American Youth Leadership program (AYLP), a program of U.S. Department State. Before that event happened, we’ve been prepared our plan just only 2 days. It was such a blessed that we won the 3rd place and got a bronze medal. Surprisingly, it was the first time that I got a medal. Moreover, during that time we met lots of amazing American students from different states of America, and met many more talented people. I got a chance to hang out with 3 of them, and it was totally fun. I’ll never forget that day.

A bronze medal and a certificate of me.
